New session begins at NIPER TNN Aug 12, 2011, 02.54am IST CHANDIGARH: In his first visit to the institute after taking over as chairman of the Board of Governors of NIPER, Mohali, Vishwa Mohan Katoch, who is also secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, inaugurated the academic session on Thursday. A state-of-the-art hostel with two common rooms, dining area with kitchen and an office for wardens was also inaugurated. Built at a cost of Rs 5 crore, the hostel can accommodate 166 students.
