People from CBI, Chandigarh visited NIPER on Friday. Registrar PJP Singh Waraich was questioned regarding 11th five year plan money utilization and official documents requisitioned for preliminary inquiry. Thou CBI had not mentioned against whom the complains are registered, it is learned that current officiating director, previous director and a senior professors are under scanner. It is also learnt that officiating director is out of town for last several days.
