CBI visits NIPER again !

CBI again paid visit to NIPER today and interrogation of Registrar PJP Singh is on.


This time CBI visited Registrar in his campus residence. It is learnt that under instruction from Official Director Register arranged the meeting at residence to keep the repeated visit of CBI unrevealed to NIPER employees.

It is pertinent to mention that both Officiating Director as well as Registers’ appointment is under question, and CBI visit before scheduled BOG meeting on 21st Nov, 2011 at campus, suffice embarrassment.

Otherworldly efforts are also on to make swimming pool temporary functional on 21st on Nov 2011. In absence of electrical connection and working filtering system, GOD only can make the water sufficiently hygienic for Hon,ble members' holy dip.

Pharma elites abandoning NIPER

Corruption and misdeeds are all time high @NIPER, so high that elites are declined to be associated with NIPER.. 
Mr. Ajay Piramal, Chairman Piramal Group, declined to be member of the Board of Governors, NIPER.

Nepotism case two of Officiating director, current Registrar @NIPER not worthy of the post

 Wing Cdr PJP Singh Waraich (Retd.) does not meet the requisite qualifications of eligibility for the post of Registrar at NIPER, Mohali. Officiating Director made his selection deliberately though officiating Director was not competent authority to approve the appointment of registrar. This act of officiating Director amounts to ‘denial of opportunity’ to genuinely deserving candidates besides leading to ‘nepotism’.

For the post of the registrar many candidates, who were qualifying the required criteria applied, including acting registrar of NIPER. It is pertinent to mention that officiating director did not call the acting registrar, NIPER for the interview. The comparison of Dr. Shyam Narayan Dy. Registrar IIT Roorkee who attended the interview with PJP Singh Waraich is as under
