Retired prof instigating students to strike

Following the directions of the Union Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilisers, four senior profs of NIPER, including the officiating director, have been ordered to retire. 

Confirming the development, NIPER Registrar Wing Cdr PJP Singh Waraich (retd) said a communication in this regard was received from the Ministry and the process to follow the instructions is on. termination letteds will be handed over as soon as they resume duty.

According to source sacked professors allegedly instigated students for staging a strike by saying "We have been targeted, NIPER image is being tarnished". However after CBI raid, there are hardly any takers for their version.  

The students had earlier decided to protest after officiating Director removed two profs from NIPER
