Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyoon Aata Hai

In the Deans mail dated April 3 2012, about Presentation of 11th five year plan projects; dean asked for "The presentation will highlight the objectives, money sanctioned, deliverance, achievements and expenditure justification." and also circulated a table with name of the 11th five year plan research projects and name of the faculty members supposedly associated with the project (read: got financial assistance from the project, hence accountable for the progress).

In response to that mail faculty members showed varied reaction. Some are objected to wrongful attachment of names (imposed responsibility), some objected about receiving less money (with serious assertion!!), some objected about their name omission (receiving no money?).

Inspection of the EFC document of DOP, mid term review report and table in deans mail uncover that; the projects from where money is siphoned off or diverted those are care fully avoided/omitted for presentation (eventually to be exposed in this blog)

Mails appended below are self explanatory.

Subject: RE: Presentations for APDC meeting on 18th and 19th April 2012

Dear All faculties,
1.      I just want to put on record that current director did not fund us the money as was proposed for the year 2011-12 and everybody including current dean was after us. They disbursed only 20 lacs for 7 faculties and ~70 students of pharmaceutics. Project is written by the faculties and fund is decided by coterie of Director even when they are sending the proposal for fund release to ministry.

2.      I also feel that current administration only think that few professors are working in the institute not the associate or assistant professor. This is supported by the meeting of director with professor in every issues. The same is reflected from the today’s meeting at 4.00pm

With this, I want to know from the authorities what they want from us in absence of money last year.

Sincerely,
Neeraj Kumar
